Nad and I had a really great feast for lunch yesterday at PugaA's place. The food was so good -the lunch, the cookies, the maruku and the pudding. And the good company. Esther was there with her sister as well. From Bukit Gedong, we headed to a kopitiam near Sunshine. Another session of sembang2 with Nad. She was away at the national archive for a few days last week. Well, there was quite a bit of updates that we were talking about.
Later, I went out again to Campbell Street with my mom and dad. We had mamak food at Hameediyah. We also took a walk at Chowrastra Market. I could see that my mom was walking down the memory lane when she explained to us about the shops and places that she used to visit. She also told me that she has never dreamt that one day she'd come back to Penang, that is after having stayed here some 40 years ago. Hmmmm ... you just don't know what life has in store for you.
It is my friend's birthday today and he asked me out to lunch. He specifically requested to have something fatty, Lol. So, we had nasi kandar at Kayu. I think he had a good go at the briyani hahahahahaha. Anyway, because today is his special day, I hope he will always be healthy and happy & may he also find what he's been looking for. Amin.
