A Picnic Under the Pine

Leceh ... leceh betul ... I am such a clumsy person. Kopi nih pon bleh tumpah, hampeh ... dah la aku baru pakai jeans nih, ni dah kena basuh cepat2 ... cisssssss ... Dah makan ke? Makan pe? I had kebab tadi. Lolly and I had lunch together, and we had kebabs from George's. Dan seperti biasa, bila makan kebab or anything yg seangkatan dgnya, mestilah aku akan mengotorkan pakaianku dgn sos yg tumpah sana sini. Jadiknya, kopi tadik tu bukan incident yg pertama :P

It is a nice day today, so Lolly and I had a small picnic at our fave spot. Oh yeah, we went to a few places before we went to the kebab's place. A short window-shopping at the pharmacy. Lolly nearly bought a body lotion instead of getting the toothpaste that she needs. Hahahahaha, we always ended up getting things that we don't need instead of getting the ones we should be getting. Anyway, she didn't get any. Then, we also paid a short visit at Jerry's place. Lol, he's still there, and he's still waiting for his PR. That has been quite some time actually. We bought our drinks there, and Lolly dropped some boxes of drinks and she really fell for what Jerry said - that she couldn't take the vanilla malt (the one that she wanted) but instead to take the chocolate drink (the ones that she dropped), hehehehehe ... haiihhhhhh ... that's Lolly alright. We both wondered what Jerry has been up to as Lolly said she always sees him in the library. The last we heard abt him was that he's enrolled at TAFE - possibly he's finishing up.

Then ... me & Lolly had a good talk abt the story of Yousef. Muahahahahaha ... I had asked Yousef one very personal question and I was sharing the bits and pieces with Lolly. That was quite an interesting talk I would say and the topic was - "A Practical Relationship" - from the point of view of one middle-eastern man. Not to say that I agreed to all that he was saying, but it is suffice for me to just trying to see how culture and environment could mould one's outlook in life. He sure has a long way to go ... thinking-wise and many other things. Being 25 and studying for your Masters degree don't just make you the perfect or practical man that you think you are mate. Trust me, there's a lot more that you have yet to discover. They can in fact be a turn off especially when you try to put your image as such. Haihhhh ... men ... they can be complicated creatures too ;) ... I'm not emotional, am I?

Lepak with Super Lolly

Hey there! How are you mate? Hope things are running smoothly for you. Just got back from my lepak-lepak session with Supper Lolly. I haven't seen her for quite some time - but she's doing great. I went to the library to withdraw some AU$ and waited for her there. We had food at the Noodle House and I had lamb - I think it was lamb rendang, not the pekat one but slightly diluted. Lolly said she likes the food - she took the bamboo shoot and nangka gulai lemak, but later she said they were all salty, hehehehe.

Anyway, we headed back to the library after lunch, and had a good long chit chat on the field, under this one big tree. We chose a nice spot so that we'd be able to look at people walking by and as usual, came up with our own commentaries on the "fashion fiesta" in front of us. Not gossiping, just "Guess More Abt Me" kind of game. We talked abt many things, my flatmates, my flat, things that we do, abt Sven, abt Avril + the bro + the Internet guy + the NZ guy (hehehehe), abt Janet (this one not so much), abt Lolly's trip to Rottnest, her swimming lessons, abt Big Brother housemates and other things too. I was really great catching up with her again.

I headed back to my school after that and she went to the library for some revision. Lolly has a test coming up tonight. Good luck to you SuperLolly. And when I arrived at my workstation, Mehnosh and Hussein are in. And hey, Bill brought her grandaughter to see us today too. The lilttle gal is so so cute, with brown hair and really big, clear, sparkling eyes. Her name is Jessica. Well, needless to elaborate here, Mehnosh jumped to the opportunity to play with Jessica ... LOL, it's fine with me ... I'm never good with kids afterall, they will cry most of the time when they see me. But Jessica is a good-natured gal. She's not afrraid of people.

And now, I have to rush to Coles. I need to get my grocery and I do not want to go back late as it'll be busy by 4pm. So, have a jolly good time and will continue soon.

PS/ Did I tell you that there was this one bloke who got really drunk early this morning - probably around 4 - 5am? out of the blue, there was one soothuing voice trying to coax the fella inside the flat. I am very certain that it was just downstairs in front of my room. That soothing voice ... and I think I know whose voice was that ... jeng jeng jeng ...

Satu Hari di Musim Luruh

Walaupun aku tak terer masak, tapinya gulai rempah yg aku masak tu lagik sedap dari gulai rempah yg aku baru makan tadi. Gulai rempah deme kat sini taruk celery. Hehehehe, udah sah tukang masaknya omputih :) Memandangkan perut dah berkeroncong, celery pon celery lah. Janji makan. Sebenornya, pagi ni tadi ade meeting ngan Scroogie. Macam biasalah, gi meluahkan segala kebuntuan dan ketidak-buntuan yg nyata. Lepas meeting tu, baru lah kurang sket rasanya bab-bab buntu nih. Bukannya apa, kadang-kadang aku ni curiga sket ngan apa yg aku buat - kut nanti aku yg syiok sendiri, org lain satu apa pon tak paham apa yg aku buat. Kes naya tu. Jadiknya, kena la mendapatkan feedback dari yg lebih pakar kan. Tambah plak ngan keadaan musim luruh yg ari-ari ujan, aku pon tangkap lentuk rasa nak snoozzzzzeee je. So ... I blame the season ... and the rain ... memang agak 'lembapsss' nak pick up time cuaca cam tu. Enjin lambat paneh. Tapi Scroogie kata, nampak ok. So ... sambung keje mcm biasa. Lega sket rasanya. Ingatkan kut dah "tersesat" kat mana2 ... Phewwwww ...

Aku rasa kan, aku kena gi potong rambut le. Skrg ni Westerly wind tgh mengganas, pokok bunga merah kat depan bilik aku pon terhoyong hayang ke tgh ke tepi. Balik pasai rambut aku, dah tak kemas dah, kuar sana, kuar sini. Dah tu, tiap2 kali gi campus, bila angin tiup, abih spoilt 'ramos' aku :P Hampeh tul, dah le rambut luruh byk, tinggal sikit, bila ditiup angin abih lari sume alignmentnya. Cis ... jenuh nak betui balik supaya nampak kemas sket, kalau idak, mcm rupa bangun dari tido tu. Bila tgk the Aussies here, selambak rock je jalan2 sana sini ngan rambut yg baru lepas ditiup angin. Yer la, rambut dorang kalo tak sikat pon nampak ok. Tapi rambut gua ... aiseh ... tak sesuwei langsung. Oleh itu, rasa2nya mcm kena la melawat si Danae atau si Ashley utk memotong rambut ku. But I have to count my blessings kan, sekurang-kurangnya aku ada rambut --> tu yg paling penting.

Hahahahahaha ... tgk nih ... si Bill dgn senyuman nya yang paling manis sambil tersengih-sengih! Keh keh keh ... tu dok menghirup udara segar sambil tersenyum sorang-sorang kat tepi tingkap! Aku kata kat dia, tu nak show off la tu his bright face on an autumn day for the 2nd time today - tau apa dia jawab - positive annihilation katanya. Lol, org tgh happy - kita kasik 'chan' la kat dia kan. Tgh dok bergumbira proposal lepas dgn some changes, at least tak le kena submit a totally new one. Mamat nih pantas gak buat keje. Dan dari keadaan mejanya nampak mcm sungguh kuat bekerja. Buku sana, buku sini, kertas sana, kertas sini. Tak macam tempat aku ... ada poskad 2 keping ngan sajak latiff Mohidin je satu. Hehehehe ... tu pon Helen kata - lagi better last sem. Last sem, lagi la ... so plain, kali ni dia kata ada la nampak mcm homey sket. Dorang kat sini decorate tempat dorang lawa2 gak - Helen's, K. Yuss's and Mehnosh pon ada bawak satu pasu bunga kecik. Maybe aku pon kena decorate sket2 kut. Lagi ceria sket kan. Dolu2 aku suka taruk teddy bear kecik2 kat PC, tapinya kang bila start beli, nanti makin byk la plak accumulated 'wealth' yg aku nak kena angkut bila berpindah randah ... tu yg leceh tu. I'll think abt it this weekend.

Aku rasa mcm nak makan kanji la, malam tadi the housemates in BB07 kena makan kanji sbb Big Bro kata dorang kena denda sbb tak ikut dianya rules. Hmmm ... kanji ... sedap gak time sesejuk ni. Ok la, need to get back to work. Sambung cite nanti.
